I have been advocating for victims’ families since 2005. I hold a master’s degree in Criminology from Kent State University and a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University, where I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. As a registered advocate for NCAP, I have completed over 15,600 hours of CEU training in victim services since 2008, not including my work with CCFHV.
In 2005, I founded Columbiana County Families of Homicide Victims (CCFHV, Inc.) after the tragic and unsolved murder of my cousin. This experience opened my eyes to the many other unsolved cases around me. I am committed to fighting for victims’ rights and actively volunteer with several organizations, including the Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center (OCVJC), all while working full-time at a mental health facility and continuing my education.
I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else. I enjoy reading about and watching true crime shows, and I have a passion for understanding behavior and exploring the motivations behind people’s actions. Additionally, I am an active member of the Human Trafficking Task Force, the Suicide Prevention Coalition, and the Prevention of Violence Against Women Coalition. Recently, I expanded to TikTok to create a community for those grappling with the pain and trauma of losing a loved one to crime.
